Description
The Itel P70 (128+4) is designed for users who want excellent battery life and solid storage at a budget price. It comes with a large 6,000 mAh internal battery, and in many bundles, it includes a 4,000 mAh power-case that doubles as an external battery pack. This gives a combined potential capacity of around 10,000 mAh, which is unusually large for phones in this segment.
The display is a 6.67-inch HD+ IPS panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate, which helps give smoother animations and scrolling compared to many phones in the same price bracket stuck at 60 Hz. It also has a punch-hole for the selfie camera, and peak brightness is advertised around 700 nits, so it should be visible outdoors.
For performance, the P70 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G50 Ultimate chipset. With 4 GB of RAM (and memory-fusion to simulate extra RAM in some cases), it handles everyday tasks such as social media, video streaming, messaging, light multitasking, and basic apps well. The 128 GB storage is generous for this class, affording plenty of space for apps, photos, and media.
Camera setup is simple but serviceable: a 13 MP rear shooter with LED flash, and an 8 MP front camera for selfies. The quality is decent under good lighting. Video recording tops out likely at 1080p.
Charging is via USB-C at 18 W wired speed. It’s not superfast compared to premium phones, but with the power-case included, you have extra battery for long durations. Also, some features like fingerprint sensor (side-mounted), dual-SIM, microSD expansion, 3.5 mm jack are present. Build includes IP54 dust/splash resistance in some markets.
Software comes with Android 14 out of the box, with Itel’s UI (Itel OS 14 or Itel OS 14.5 in some listings). The phone supports memory extension (virtual RAM) in many listings, which helps with smoother multitasking given the 4 GB physical RAM. The Itel P70 (4+128) is well suited for someone who wants long battery life, lots of storage, and a smooth display.
