Description
The Itel A90 (128+4) is designed to deliver strong value in the budget smartphone segment. It has a 6.6-inch HD+ (720 × 1612) IPS LCD screen that supports a 90 Hz refresh rate, giving smoother animations and scrolls than the typical 60 Hz displays in similarly priced phones. The display also supports usability in wet or oily hand conditions, a practical feature for everyday use.
Under the hood, the A90 is powered by the Unisoc T7100 chipset, which provides acceptable performance for day-to-day tasks like messaging, social media, video streaming, and light multitasking. Paired with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, this variant gives more room for apps, photos, and media than lower-storage models. There are also options for extended RAM features which help improve responsiveness.
The camera setup is serviceable: Itel A90 carries a 13 MP rear camera (with HDR and related features) and a front camera (≈ 5 MP) for selfies and casual video calls. For its price, photo-quality is decent in good lighting but will understandably struggle in low light.
Battery performance is a strong point: a 5,000 mAh battery ensures the phone lasts through a full day (or more if usage is light to moderate). Charging is via 15 W wired charging, via USB Type-C, which is not the fastest charging technology, but adequate for this price segment.
On durability, the A90 comes with IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, which adds some protection against everyday environmental challenges. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual SIM functionality, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and several color options (e.g. Starlit Black, Space Titanium) which give it a decent aesthetic appeal.
